Argentina: Álvarez outstanding as Independiente win again
Lorgio Álvarez (Cerro Porteño)Bolivian defender Lorgio Álvarez played all 90 minutes yesterday and assisted Montoya who scored the only goal of the day as Independiente beat San Lorenzo 1-0 to take the lead of the Argentine Clausura. Ronald Raldes play well but could not help his Rosario Central as they lost 1-0 against Gimnasia. José Alfredo Castillo did not play for Rosario and was again forced to watch from the side. Spain: Peña sent off as Villarreal draw with Cadiz
Juan Manuel PeñaCadiz, one of the weaker teams of the Spanish league, did well yesterday and surprised Villarreal in Valencia. The visitors stunned the crowd at the El Madrigal stadium by taking the lead only 24 seconds into the first half. An awful mistake by the home side defence and goalkeeper allowed Medina to make it 1-0 for Cadiz. Calleja levelled the score in the 62nd minute. Bolivian defender Juan Manuel Peña came in for Villarreal in the 67th minute but was sent off in the 80th minute, forcing Villarreal to finish with only ten men. Read more...

Albania: Colque second Bolivian in Tirana
Percy ColqueBolívar midfielder Percy Colque leaves the La Paz based club to follow in the footsteps of compatriot Augusto Andaveris and join Albanian leagueclub SK Tirana. Colque is to leave Bolivia later this week to spend the next four months in Albania, on trial. He was glad that Bolívar didn´t stand in his way but was still conserned about their debt to him. Bolívar president Mauro Cuéllar said that the doors will always be opened for Colque if he would ever want to return. Read more...

Joselito VacaSanta Cruz based club Blooming, champions of the Bolivian Apertura 05/06, might soon lose one of their key players. Midfielder Joselito Vaca is according to René Rosado (Blooming executive) and Roly Aguilera (Tahuichi president) very close to a deal with Colombian leagueclub Millonarios.
